Purpose

An effective national aquatic surveillance network is an essential component of effective, responsive, integrated animal health surveillance in Canada. The aquatic network is built and maintained to protect the health and well-being of our wild and farmed aquatic resources, it safeguards and enhances the viability and prosperity of our numerous and highly diversified sectors and industries
